At CIG, our focus is to define how institutions evaluate and allocate across digital asset strategies through structured diligence, standardized data, and ongoing monitoring.
As we continue to build toward that, we’re excited to welcome Blaine Bensur to the team.
Blaine joins CIG as Manager Research Lead, bringing direct experience from the allocator side. Most recently, he was a Portfolio Manager at a $13B multi-family office, where he was responsible for sourcing, analyzing, and monitoring strategies across a range of asset classes and structures. That perspective, how institutions actually make decisions, is core to what we’re building.
At CIG, Blaine will focus on helping institutions better understand and compare the full range of active digital asset strategies across funds, SMAs, and onchain approaches. His work centers on turning fragmented manager information into something structured and usable within institutional workflows.
As more institutional capital enters the space, expectations around how strategies are presented and evaluated are becoming more consistent and more demanding. A key part of Blaine’s role is helping bridge that gap and ensuring managers are aligned with how institutions actually assess opportunities.
This reflects where the market is going and where we’re building. The market is expanding quickly, but the way strategies are evaluated remains inconsistent. Our goal is to standardize that through systems that bring ongoing clarity across managers, strategies, and structures.
Blaine will play a central role in that effort.
We’re excited to have him on board and look forward to what we build together.
As always, feel free to reach out if you’d like to learn more.
