FTSE Russell and Crypto Insights Group Partner to Bring Digital Asset Indices to the CIG Platform

NEW YORK, NY (July 15, 2026) – FTSE Russell and Crypto Insights Group (CIG) today announced a new collaboration to bring a selection of FTSE Russell’s institutional-grade digital asset indices onto the CIG platform. The integration expands the range of benchmark data available to allocators evaluating and monitoring digital asset strategies.
The indices now available to CIG users include:
• FTSE Crypto 10 ex Bitcoin Select Index
• FTSE Crypto US Listed Index
• FTSE Digital Asset Bitcoin Ethereum Index (4pmEST)
• FTSE Digi50 Index (4pm EST)
• FTSE Bitcoin Index (1HR 4pm EST)
• FTSE Ethereum Index (1HR 4pm EST)
• FTSE Hyperliquid Index (1HR 4pm EST)
These indices are designed to provide transparent, rules-based benchmarks across key areas of the digital asset market, supporting institutional investors, asset managers, and advisory platforms in assessing strategy performance and mandate alignment.
As the digital asset landscape continues to mature, allocators are placing greater emphasis on benchmarking frameworks that reflect how strategies are actually constructed and deployed. This integration is intended to support that shift by embedding institutional-quality reference points directly into the diligence and monitoring workflow.
“Allocators are increasingly focused on understanding not just returns, but how those returns are generated relative toa defined benchmark,” said Kristen Mierzwa, Head of Digital Assets at FTSE Russell. “By making FTSE Digital Asset Indices available through CIG, we’re helping bring greater clarity and consistency to how digital asset strategies are evaluated across the institutional landscape.”
“At Crypto Insights Group, one of the most common challenges we hear from both allocators and managers is the difficulty in identifying benchmarks that accurately reflect a strategy’s mandate,” said Andy Martinez, Founder and CEO of Crypto Insights Group. “Integrating FTSE Russell’s indices into the platform allows us to continue building out a benchmarking layer that aligns with how institutions actually allocate capital across digital asset strategies.”
The addition of FTSE Russell’s index data further enhances CIG’s broader objective of standardizing how digital asset strategies are analyzed, compared, and monitored over time. By incorporating these benchmarks directly into manager profiles and analytics, users can more effectively contextualize performance within a structured, institutional framework.
Crypto Insights Group users will be able to access the indices directly within the platform, alongside existing performance data and diligence materials. Additional details, including full index methodologies and licensing information, will be available through FTSE Russell.
