Crypto Insights Group (CIG), the leading data platform helping allocators identify, diligence, and monitor digital asset funds, is pleased to announce it's partnership and the inclusion of the CCi30 Index, a rules-based benchmark that tracks the thirty largest crypto assets by adjusted market capitalization.
The integration expands the lineup of institutional indices already available and gives allocators another broad-market lens for measuring manager and portfolio performance.
The CCi30 Index
CCi30’s methodology emphasizes diversification and transparency: it excludes stablecoins, applies square-root weighting to temper concentration in the largest tokens, and rebalances monthly to keep the mix representative of the evolving market.
These features have helped build the index as a reference tool for funds and allocators since its 2017 launch. Subscribers to the CIG Portal can now understand risk analytics and chart returns versus CCi30 today.
Looking Ahead
"Adding CCi30 is another step toward our goal of giving allocators a neutral, comprehensive benchmark toolkit. We’ll keep expanding the Portal with well vetted, rules based indices so investors, both long-established institutions and newer entrants, can measure manager skill and market exposure with greater precision," said Andy Martinez, CEO of CIG.
